T. N. Ukwatta (GSFC/GWU) report on behalf of the Swift Team:

At 04:19:24 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 080723 (trigger=317662). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 274.512, -6.923 which is
   RA(J2000) = 18h 18m 03s
   Dec(J2000) = -06d 55' 20"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). Because the BAT light curve has not been
received, we cannot comment on the burst profile at this time. However,
there is a strong 8.4 sigma excess detected in the scaled map image,
which strongly suggests a real gamma-ray burst occurred.

for the Swift-BAT and BATSS teams

At 01:10:41, Swift-BAT observed GRB 080702B. The burst occurred
during a preplanned Swift slew maneuver. The rate increase was
noted during a routine check of the counting rates for missed out-
of-field and slew bursts. A GRB candidate was automatically
detected by the BAT Slew Survey (BATSS) with 5.9 sigma in the
S band (15-50 keV) and 6.5 sigma in the B band (15-150keV).
The burst profile is FRED-like with ~3sec rise and ~30sec decay.
The peak count rate is 0.05cts/sec (S band) and 0.04cts/sec (B band).
BATSS automated analysis measured T90 = 10.5sec and T50 = 5.5sec,
and a position

RA = 23h 42m 24s, DEC = -05d 29' 23"

with a 90% confidence radius of 6.4arcmin.

We report further results on GRB 080405 (Cummings et al. GCN circ
#7564) based on the BAT event data from T-1.3 to T+8.7 seconds.
This interval covers only about the first fifth of the event, and
not the interval of peak flux.

The best BAT position remains the same: RA, Dec 162.597, -4.250 deg
which is:
RA(J2000) = 10h 50m 23.3s,
Dec(J2000) = -4d 15' 00" (J2000)
with an uncertainty of 2.0 arcmin (radius, sys+stat, 90% containment).
